RF Repeater solution

2022-03-04

Rural areas are venues with low population density with weak and blind spots as the macro cell sites are far away.  Building base stations to provide coverage isn’t the best solution since the population is low in the rural area.  The most cost-effective solution is to deploy RF repeaters with suitable high gain antennas, and high-power base station booster amplifiers to extend the base station coverage. As well as can solve the signal coverage in buildings, they comprise of RF Repeater, antennas, passive components, and RF coaxial cables and jumpers. The RF Repeater receives the low-power signal from BTS via the Donor Antenna, linearly amplifies the signal and then retransmits it via the Coverage Antenna to the weak/blind coverage area. And the mobile signal is also amplified and retransmitted to the BTS via the opposite direction. It is suitable for both cellular network and critical communication network such as TETRA/IDEN/PMR.

Fiber Optic Repeater Solution

Fiber Optic Repeater Solution

The Fiber Optic Repeater (FOR) is designed to solve problems of weak mobile signal in the place that is far away from the Base Transceiver Station (BTS) and has fiber optic cable network underground. The system consists of two parts: Donor Unit and Remote Unit. The Donor unit captures the BTS signal via direct coupler closed to BTS, then converts it into optic signal and transmits the amplified signal to the Remote Unit via fiber optic cable. The Remote unit will reconvert the optic signal into R
